At first the jersey was black with a red and white band, next it was a white jersey with a red band and now it is a very smart red jersey with white stripes. (not to be confused with the Welsh National Team.)
I was the captain of the 1st XV in my last year at the college and I remember our Friday lunchtime meetings with Mr Chappell, our coach.
"Tactics, same as last week," he would say, but I don't know that we really had any tactics at all.
I was quite a small person to play lock and when I was pushed around a bit in a lineout, I said sharply to the culprit, "Watch it mate."
I am glad he did because he was at least twice as big as I was.
